Märklin 49571 crane set in H0 scale, consisting of the six-axle Ardelt Type 058 steam-powered railroad rotary crane, a crane tender car and a Type 631 tool car of the German Federal Railroad (DB).

The prototype crane has a lifting capacity of 57 metric tons and is finished in chrome oxide green with the coat of arms of Ludwigshafen am Rhein. The model represents the operating condition around 1977, Era IV.

The crane is equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. The crane superstructure and boom can rotate through 360°. The boom and metal main hook can be raised and lowered separately. The model also features digitally controlled cab lighting, two LED work lights and a digitally controlled smoke generator.

The four support arms can be swung out manually and positioned with spindles on the supplied support bases. The model incorporates various metal construction parts and is supplied with the matching crane tender car and enclosed tool car.

Complete in Märklin original packaging with manuals, documentation and the loose detail parts and accessories shown in the photos.
